HOMEMADE ICE TEA

Yeeeeey Summer has finally arrived!

That means: a lot of sunshine and hoooot temperatures!

And what would be better in summer than a fresh ice tea?
Therefore I have a super easy recipe for you today for a homemade ice tea! But I really have to say that “recipe” sounds a little bit exaggerated because it’s really so easy to do!

Und damit auch endlich Sonnenschein und heiße Temperaturen!

You will need:

  • black tea
  • lemons

optional:

  • ice cubes
  • fruit tea of choice
  • sweetener

And that’s how it’s done:

Just pour lukewarm water over the black and the fruit tea and let it rest for at least five hours. Best you just leave it overnight then it’ll taste wonderful!
You don’t really have to use fruit tea – that’s totally up to you if you want a fruity taste! It’ll taste just as fine with black tea only!

After that just serve it with ice cubes and maybe put some sweetener to it (but it’s not really necessary).

And that’s it! :)

My Tip: If you’re using fruit tea, use some fruits that’ll cool you. So I’d not recommend any roots that would warm you during winter time like ginger or turmeric.
Use something that grows in hot countries anyways like citrus fruits – those will cool the body! ;)
I used the Organic Orange & Coconut Clipper Tea!
